Our hotel enjoys a privileged location in the center of Meiringen, just a short 5-minute walk from the train station and 700 meters from the mountain railway. A seamless skiing experience awaits you in winter: from Meiringen train station, the ski bus takes you directly to the cable car station, which takes you effortlessly and comfortably up the Hasliberg to Reuti. From there, the world of the Alpine panorama opens up to you with the gondola ride to Bidmi and Mägisalp, up to the Alpentower – a true paradise for winter sports lovers.

Winter is just around the corner, and nothing stands in the way of your stay at Hotel Dakota. With 60 kilometers of ski slopes, you are guaranteed exciting days on skis or a snowboard. Book this special and your ski passes will be conveniently ready at the hotel on your arrival day, saving you the hassle of queuing. Skis and equipment can also be rented stress-free right next to the hotel.
The package includes accommodation in a Superior Double Room with breakfast, access to all public transport, free entry to the local indoor pool, and two ski passes. Lunch packages can be ordered the day before for CHF 15.00.
The winter package for 2 days (1 night, 2 x 2-day ski pass) costs CHF 440 (with half board CHF 510).
The winter package for 3 days (2 nights, 2 x 3-day ski pass) costs CHF 820 (with half board CHF 960).
The winter package for 4 days (3 nights, 2 x 4-day ski pass) costs CHF 1,180 (with half board CHF 1,390).

The night sledding and night skiing opportunities on Hasliberg are an unforgettable experience. On the unlit toboggan run from Mägisalp to Bidmi or on the illuminated slope between Mägisalp and Bidmi/Reuti, you’ll discover a whole new way to enjoy winter sports. At the Mägisalp mountain restaurant, you can enjoy a cozy evening in the hut accompanied by traditional entertainment.
Until 10 p.m., on New Year’s Eve and every Friday from January 20 to March 10, 2025, as well as every Wednesday from February 1 to March 1, 2025, the unlit sledding path from Mägisalp to Bidmi will be open.
What could be better in the cold season than a typical Swiss cheese fondue in the newly opened Sageli Kaltenbrunnen restaurant in the beautiful Rosenlaui valley.
Spend an unforgettable day in Winter Wonderland on snowshoes or on foot in the snow-covered Rosenlaui or travel comfortably from the hotel.
Start the evening with a mulled wine as a welcome drink followed by a fondue including rich side dishes and a glass of Kirsch for 30.00 CHF per person (25.00 CHF without mulled wine). Drinks, appetizers or desserts as well as menu adjustments can be easily ordered directly at the Restaurant Sageli.
